Office of Elementary CatechesisOffice of Elementary Catechesis supervises and provides both human and material resources for the training and certification of parish catechists throughout the diocese. Training and orientation is also provided for parish directors/coordinators of religious education. Catechetical curriculum and textbook selection guidelines offered by this office help ensure uniform standards of quality religious formation for children in grades K-8. Additionally, programs of religious education for the physically and mentally disabled are being developed for diocesan implementation. For additional resource information go to:
